Facade painting

“As if we had fallen into a cistern” is the feeling the managers of the “Franziskaner” in Munich get, whenever they step into the atrium. With our design we rethink the lower part of a 16m high wall into arcade arches with a view into the southern Bavarian Alpine foothills. The upper parts of the wall are transformed into classicist Facades, with width and openness, instead of classic “cistern-narrowness”!

The perspectively pictured glass dome with a view from below - painted onto a vertical wall - demands all our senses to be heightened during construction..
The  painting is performed with dispersion coating on mineral facade colour. This coat is UV resistant and is readily diffused. Due to the fact that we only use silicifable pigments, the colour seems timeless.
