Videos of final projects made by the class of 2014

For the final project participants choose a motive themselves. They will paint the picture either for use in their own space at home, for use in a showroom or for a customer, who discusses his ideas with the painter first.

In the weeks leading up to the trompe-l’oeil painting week the students, in correspondence with Ursula Benad, create sketches and then a full scale blueprint and prepare all templates necessary to create the final piece in full scale.
The painting week can be compared to on site work with a client and is meant to represent such an environment, where a set piece of work is completed in a set time frame.
