Paintings of sky in any format are our speciality. Sometimes just the introduction of elements of sky on the ceiling, e.g. a delicate glaze in bright blue shades with dimly displayed clouds, helps to raise the ceiling in the eyes of a spectator. For a more realistic impact, we work out the shapes and details of the clouds and decide what time of day is to be shown (morning, general daylight, evening or night sky). Arrangement of lights and shadows indicate the precise position of an imaginary sun. Where it fits the style of the interior, the painted sky can blend into an elaborate trompe-l´œil painting with birds, trees and elements of architecture.
