Coherent colour schemes for new builds

It really isn’t a luxury to have to calculate statics for a building.
Quite on the contrary: Without solid statics, a building will collapse.

What statics are to stability, qualified colour scheming is to the field of atmospheric charisma: a science with wide reaching practical impact.

The colourfulness of a building decides, what kind of effect it causes in the space of perception of someone looking at it. It is all about the impression and atmosphere, about sensing the appropriation and differentiation, the self-portrayal and mediation, the fascination or indifference…

Physically speaking, as colour planers, we often have to work with the last micrometers available to us on the building surface.
Psychologically speaking however we go a lot deeper: We play a big part in what message a building sends and whether it is liked or disliked.

Apart from social-, design and mediatory competencies we are also in command of a high sensitivity when it comes to colour and experience in creating large scale colour impressions and colour-interactions.
Our working process integrates both analog and digital working methods in a rational, productive manner: In regard to 3D modelling and colouring we use state of the art technology; at the same time we are also able to produce hand painted sample panels on original surfaces.
If necessary we will mix each colour tone manually with colour and paintbrush.

Colour is far too complex to simple decide on it spontaneously.

More and more building owners and architects realise, that it is an expression of professionalism to have colour planners on board during a project. The qualified planning of colour effects and the process of making decisions on colours are sensitive procedures, for which external specialists usually give a lot of input and uncover a lot of aspects, that are usually overlooked in a normal build routine; or that simply can’t be included in a normal building process.

Underestimating the effect of professional colour planning usually makes you miss an important aspect of your investment: The positive appearance in the experience-space.

By using professional renderings, it is possible to make reliable colour choices. This guarantees that the building owner and the architects don’t take any “colour risks”.

Colour planing is a creative service.

We neither wish to jazz up your building with colour, nor do we wish to make it an expression of our artistic “ingenuity”. You planning goal decides the direction we will take together.

  • First of all we will visualise for ourselves, what sort of effect you would like to cause: outwards (as in marketing that is legible on the buildings facade) and inwards (for people using the building, tenants, own employees etc.)
  • We therefore familiarise ourselves with the ins and outs of your building: The way it was built, the material used, proportions and its functionality. We also take into account the buildings in the direct vicinity, the region as a whole and the historic context.
  • On the basis of this and other information we develop colour ideas: different visions of a colourful presence in and around your building. We create significant visualisations, that we discuss with you.
  • Together we will choose the best ones, make them more precise, and come close to a perfect solution as a whole in a step-by-step process.

Look forward to your colourful building:
here’s to a harmonious overall look!
