Colour Schemes

The right colour doesn’t cost any more than the wrong one,
but it makes you feel much better.

Execution

The impact of colour...
...
is not limited to its hue but is also dependant on its material and surface. That's why we offer in the implementation of a concept for important representative areas high quality design and decoration techniques.
We have many years of experience involving countless thousands of square meters of wall surface in commercial and private settings of all types; from the exhibition foyer to computer tomography rooms.

Wall Glazing Techniques

Glazes are transparent and semi-transparent colour layers which allow the base (usually a white painted surface) to shine through. We prefer fine atmospheric structures, smooth and free of definable traces of tools to radiate an unfathomable spacious effect. When various colour nuances are simultaneously applied, a fascinating play of colour takes place at the transitions, becoming finer and more subtle with increasing number of layers. Depending on the existing base and requirements, we mix our own glazes using artists’ acryl or oil colours, silicate and vegetable colorants, or we produce glazes using pigments and casein glue.

Marbling
Marbling, in the narrower sense, means a painted imitation of marble stone. Our painted marbles distinguish themselves with their lightness and realness as well as having an unobtrusive appearance. We can perfectly blend the colours of the painted marble to its surroundings, such as a pre-existing marble, and imitate any structure. In a further sense, marbling can also mean the glazing colour applications which leave flow traces and condensations as in real marble. This marble style is suitable for nearly every architectural surroundings, from a country cottage to a glass palace of insurance companies, providing a discreet architectural escort of liveliness.

Spatula techniques
In co-operation with our partners we carry out spatula techniques using lime products (i.e. marmorino, stuccolustro, venetian plaster) as well as modern materials (smoothing techniques, local puttying with dispersion cremes, artistic structure techniques). For our specialty “Antique and Avant-garde”, we utilise a self-mixed material which we apply leaving structures. With the application of glazed colour alternatively with sanding down of the structures, we obtain continously changing variations, which can create an authentic antique effect or leave an avant-garde artistic impression. The sensuousness of the natural material combines with the visionary impact of pure colour. No wonder we have carried out “Antique and Avant-garde” in so many restaurants, as well as the new on Munich fair grounds.
