Workshop description
During the workshop you create a painting on canvas in a Gothic-Venetian style that serves as “Venice to take away”. Framed by a stony border the trompe-l´œil painting (approx. 1.7 m x 0.7 m) can be integrated into nearly any interior. Particularly on glazed walls it gives a flavour of Ven-ice, which inspires millions of people every year. The intense colouration of its crumbling patina forms a peculiar allure, without dominating the interior.

The painting techniques are focussed on the drapery (in the form of a marquee) and the relief bor-der that is constructed in grisaille technique. For both you get detailed instructions and drafts.

Qualifications required
Practise in painting with acrylics.

„Venetian window" is held over two days.
1st day: 9.30 am – 5 pm
2nd day: 9.30 am – 5 pm
