workshop description
Even if one is trained in blending colours, it can be difficult to develop a meaningful colour scheme for a room, a flat or a whole building.
The fundamentals of colour scheming are taught in the workshop. Specific colour systems and planning tools are explained. In theory and practice Ursula and Martin Benad discuss the ques-tions: How can I get inspiring ideas? How can I transcribe my ideas to specific colours schemes? How do specific colour combinations affect our moods?
The workshop participants create colour designs according to emotional profiles (e.g. calm and tranquile) in order to create predefined atmospheres for interior spaces.
Designing colour schemes by mixing paints allows meaningful combinations to be discovered through controlled action, instead of randomly scrolling through colour charts.

qualifications required
The manner of our instruction ensures that items will be understood even by students who have not yet systematically studied colour scheming and colour theory. Experienced attenders will appreci-ate the balanced composition of theory and practice, the originality of presentation and the concise summing up given by Ursula and Martin Benad.
