Fees
The duration of training is in total 40 days in two years.
Course fees for the 8 workshops (19 days) add up to 3.827,- € plus 19% VAT (727,13), if sepa-rately booked. Students of the academy get a 15% reduction of the whole package (574,05 €).
For study days 21 x 150 € (3.150,-) plus 19% VAT (598,50 €) are charged. Study days and work-shops amount to the net value 6.402,95 €. This includes the costs of all materials and tools that are required during workshops and study days. Prices are guaranteed until September 2010.

Form of payment
Course fees may be paid in eight instalments. Two payments will be made in each semester: the first instalment is due before the commencement of the semester. The second instalment is due before the completion of the semester.
The discount of 15% for eight workshops will be applied to the students account retrospectively in semester 4. Thus the 7th and 8th payments will be lower than the previous payments.

Value added tax VAT
The academy is required by law to charge VAT (German Mehrwertsteuer) at 19%. This also ap-plies to students from abroad, since the training is held in Germany.
Students who wish to enquire about possible refunds of VAT are encouraged to consult qualified tax consultants or accounts.

Miscellaneous
No application has been made for state recognition or promotion of the academy. Students should not assume that their training will be subsidised by the government. No responsibility for board and lodging is accepted by the academy, but we will do our best to help you find good value ac-commodation.
Participants frequently report that they have sold paintings that resulted from the workshops, or that they have won customers and gained commissions by showing samples they have created dur-ing the training. It is also possible for the final assignments to be designed according to a commis-sion a student has acquired.
