study days
During these days (if possible either immediately before or following a workshop) we seek to
deepen and secure individual knowledge and skills. Personal work (homework) will be prepared, discussed or refined.
home work
Individual accomplishment of the homework is an essential part of the training as well as work-shops and study days. This takes approximately 8 days per semester. Regular revision of the con-tents of the seminars ensures deeper individual understanding and ability. Only those who inde-pendently engage in the particular subject will benefit from the supervision and advice that is of-fered during the study days.
trompe-l´œil - painting week (final exam)
During a 7-day workshop in Munich each student carries out a detailed trompe-l´œil painting on canvas, that has been precisely planned and prepared beforehand. During this workshop contents of teaching are also summarised, corrections and new ideas are discussed and individual issues are treated. At the same time the workshop serves as final exam.
optional: voluntary work experience
Voluntary work experience can be integrated into the training, but this is not mandatory.
The curriculum may be subject to some alterations.
